Offroading and Landrovers

Yes, I know it may come as a shock, but I do indeed drive a Landrover. Well I say ‘drive’; it’s more a way of life; so a more accurate assessment would be ‘I am owned by a Landrover’.

I offroad the 90 reasonably regularly, competing in RTV’s across the land. I am a member of both The Buchan Offroad Drivers Club and The Tay 4x4 Offroad Club who both hold competitions/meetings every few weeks. As a consequence of the trials, there are a few battle scars on the 90, but it’s one of those vehicles that looks better dirty, besides if it was all clean and straight and shiny, I’d worry about denting it!

The 90 is my everyday vehicle, so I try and drive it with a modicum of care, even if I don’t manage that I do worry about breaking it (no I didn’t wheelie it, or dent both diff pans at Glentarkie).

Here's some pics from offroad events I've been at
